SoulFull Birthworker: Somatic Movement & Reiki for Perinatal Providers

  • Release Bodywork and Healing 5808 South Rapp Street Littleton, CO, 80120 United States (map)

Release energy, ground into loving boundaries, create sustainability in your work and connect with other providers

Perinatal Providers, it's your quarterly opportunity to move, breathe and find those big releases. After holding so much space for others, this is the time to be held yourself.

Through guided breath and somatic movement, set to deep beats to help you go deeper, you'll find self-awareness, personal power, catharsis, steady ground, and the energy to fuel your work - from the inside out.

After breathwork and somatic movement, you will find comfortable, easeful restorative postures that will continue the subtle body opening, while I offer a mini reiki session to every participant. Reiki allows energy to balance within you, holding tenderly what needs to be held, and releasing what needs to be released. In this space, you can rest, and, maybe for the first time in a long while, receive.

No experience necessary. Bring a journal for a brief reflection time before we close.

Some words women have shared from past somatic movement practices:

"I attended Alexi's Somatic Movement and Reiki for birth workers event and my take aways were so profound! I felt like I got a full body massage after being guided to move lots of stuck energy. Not to mention the community connections and sharing, felt so meaningful to be in a container like that with other birth workers. It was unlike anything I've been to and I am eager to do something like that again! Alexi is an amazing guide and I'd trust her explicitly to lead me in something similar again." -Anne Stark with Chumma Chumma

"Alexi has a gift for holding a wonderfully supportive environment- a mix of grounded warmth, laughter, tenderness, and helps me feel connected in a bigger web. I walk away from my experiences with her feeling nourished and revitalized." - Kathleen

"Alexi is warm, comforting & such a genius in her field & craft. I love being a part of her activities & engaging in such powerful work that she has to offer!" -Liz Foster
